Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Children's Ministry in Action Conference?

It's a one-day training event for those involved in children's ministry of any type. Church ministry workers will find great help in presenting the Gospel effectively to children, keeping them engaged, helping them grow as a disciple, and much more!

Good News Club Volunteers will find great benefit for developing and growing into a more effective leader and worker at their GNC. Everyone who is involved in children's ministry of any kind... (i.e., Children's Church worker, Sunday School teacher, etc.)... is encouraged to attend. There will be wonderful information shared at this conference to help you in your children's ministry.

Why is CEF hosting this conference?

Training local workers and volunteers multiplies the level of quality and effective ministry. Training is key if we are to see more children reached for God's glory. CEF's strategy is to train and equip others for effective ministry and our goal is to serve and equip local churches in this way. Based on spiritual and educational principles, this training provides proven methods for leading children to Christ and equipping believers to begin and sustain a ministry to children.

Is this just a big infomercial to push CEF Curriculum?

Thanks for your honesty. No, it is not a big infomercial. You don’t need to use CEF curriculum or resources to attend. CEF's goal is not to train how to teach a specific curriculum, but how to train teachers! This means that through training, you can effectively and clearly present the Gospel using any curriculum... or no curriculum.

Is childcare provided?

While we adore and love young children… childcare is not provided during the conference. The purpose of this conference is to bring encouragement and enrichment to those who work with children in a refreshing atmosphere so that they can then return to their ministries fully charged to go to the next level. If you have children 12+, we would love to have them join us for our Go & Tell training program.
